Other Resurfacing Work

During recent weeks, Stockbridge and McDonough both approved resurfacing contracts. The Stockbridge contract will resurface the city’s portion of Old Conyers Road; whereas, McDonough is resurfacing various streets in its downtown area.

In addition, the county issued the notice to proceed on April 21, 2024 for its first resurfacing contract. The contractor has six months to complete the work.

Finally, the county will consider a third resurfacing contract later this year. This comes after state lawmakers allocated $250 million dollars to Georgia counties and cities for additional road work. Which roads the third contract will cover is to be announced.
