Meet the Team
Clayton Carte
Founder / Owner
Clayton founded The Henry Reporter in January 2017 to share updates about his hometown. He is a lifelong resident of Henry County and graduate of Henry County Schools.
Clayton is an Eagle Scout and enjoys the outdoors. His favorite national park is the New River Gorge in West Virginia. The Great Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway are also favorites.
Clayton has previously volunteered on various county committees. They include the Henry County Schools Superintendent’s Advisory Council, as chairman for the Henry County SPLOST V projects committee in 2019, and stakeholder committees for the 2018 and ‘23 county comprehensive plans.
In May 2023, Clayton began working for Henry County Commissioner Johnny Wilson as his assistant. The Henry Reporter’s news and articles are produced independently from Clayton’s work with the commissioner.
