The Locust Grove city council approved final plat review on February 24, 2020 for Pod A—shaded in green on the map above—of the Locust Grove Station development. Locust Grove Station was originally considered and approved in 2002 before being updated through a rezoning in March 2018.
Pod A contains a gross acreage of 28.43 +/- acres and is located southwest of the intersection between state route 42 and Tanger Boulevard. The property is accessible through the existing Elmstone Commons subdivision.
Pod A will include fifty-five lots with a minimum lot size of 6,600 square feet (60’ x 110’). This is a reduction of one lot from the original 2002 approval. Minimum home sizes require 1,750 sq ft for one-story homes and at least 2,200 sq ft for two-stories.
The property is owned and being developed by HP Henry, LLC of Atlanta, GA. HP Henry LLC is also the majority land owner for the Gates at South Hampton subdivision the Hampton city council denied earlier this month.
