Havenwood Grove, a new senior apartment complex to be built on Indian Creek Road in Locust Grove, will soon construct fifty six age-restricted units in a three-story building. The ten-acre property was rezoned in June 2018 from Locust Grove’s R-3 zoning district (medium/high-density single-family residential) to PR-5 (urban infill / active adult planned residential) to support the applicant’s plans.

The city council will consider approving architectural plans for the project during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, July 1. Plans include one three-story U-shaped building with the main entrance fronting Indian Creek Road. The majority of the building façade will include dark brick with small sections of light gray fiber-cement siding to provide contrast.

The project’s fifty-six units are planned to include ten one-bedroom units and forty six two-bedroom units. Amenities include a community room, fitness center, wellness center, and outdoor pavilion.
