Whataburger, the Texas-born burger joint, is now open in Henry County. Whataburger on Jodeco Road held its grand opening on Monday, December 16. A second location on East Lake Parkway opens on Friday, December 20 27, 2024. Editor’s note: the East Lake grand opening is delayed until Dec. 27.
Whataburger Jodeco Road
The Jodeco Road Whataburger is located at 2135 Jodeco Road, Stockbridge. It is near Chick-fil-A, Sprouts and Starbucks. After the grand opening, locations are typically open 24 / 7 / 364 days a year. They are closed on Christmas Day.
Whataburger serves made to order food. Menu items include burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings. They also serve breakfast. Editor’s note: the spicy chicken sandwich is my personal favorite!

East Lake Parkway
Henry County’s second Whataburger will quickly follow its first. The Whataburger on East Lake Parkway opens on Friday, December 27. The address is 5905 East Lake Parkway, McDonough. This is in the Union Grove area near SR 155.
A third location will follow in 2025 at State Route 81 and Lake Dow Road in McDonough. Construction will reportedly begin in April.
