The second Whataburger in Henry County is now open! Whataburger on East Lake Parkway held its grand opening on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The East Lake Parkway location follows the grand opening at Jodeco Road earlier in the month. A third Henry County location of the fast-casual burger spot will start construction in spring 2025.
Whataburger East Lake Parkway
The Whataburger on East Lake Parkway is in the Union Grove area. The address is 5905 East Lake Parkway, McDonough. Locations are open 24 / 7 / 364. They are closed only on Christmas Day.
Whataburger serves made to order food. Menu items include burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings. They also serve breakfast. Editor’s note: the spicy chicken sandwich is my personal favorite!

Other Henry County Locations
The Jodeco Road location held its grand opening on Monday, December 16. Its address is 2135 Jodeco Road. This is next to Sprouts and Chick-fil-A.
Construction is said to be starting in April 2025 on Whataburger Lake Dow. It will be near Zaxby’s across the street from Publix at Lake Dow.
Franchisee Made to Order Holdings intends to open 50 Whataburger locations in metro Atlanta by 2028-29. Right now, there are 26 locations in the greater Atlanta area and north Georgia.
