MHF News is Now The Henry Reporter

January 1, 2025 – HENRY COUNTY, GA – MHF News is now The Henry Reporter. The local news website begins the new year with a new name, website domain and logo. Other exciting changes are coming in the weeks ahead. Find us at our new web address henryga.news.

Business owner Clayton Carte founded the website, originally known as Moving Henry Forward, in January 2017. The original purpose was to share updates about Henry County road projects. Clayton has since expanded the website’s topics to include zoning & new developments, SPLOST projects and local government. His goal is to share in-depth informative local news content one cannot find elsewhere. In the past year, he published 292 articles reaching an audience of nearly 500,000 visitors.

Now, beginning in 2025, the new name better reflects today’s news content. Articles cover a range of local relevant topics. In the weeks ahead, Clayton has other changes coming soon to better integrate his weekly newsletter and readers’ subscriptions. The Henry Reporter’s long-term vision is to be the premier source for local news coverage in Henry County.

The forthcoming updates are based on recommendations from the LION Publishers Sustainability Audit. Then-MHF News was selected by the national organization for the audit’s fall 2024 cycle. The audit identified areas where Clayton can improve his news business. He will now pursue implementing those recommendations during 2025.
