The Henry County Fire Rescue Department is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and you’re invited to the celebration! The fun will be happening on Saturday, October 12, at Nash Farm Park.

Henry County Fire Rescue is celebrating their 50th anniversary! The celebration will be happening at Nash Farm Park this Saturday, October 12, from 11 am to 3 pm. Nash Farm Park is located off Jonesboro Road in Hampton.
The fire department has shared more information about the event. There will be the following:

- Free Fun Activities for Kids
- Meet & Greet with Our Firefighters
- Historical Displays & More!

Come together to honor the legacy of our firefighters and the community they’ve protected for a half-century. Bring your family, friends and neighbors for a day of fun and celebration!
Did you know Henry County Fire Rescue operating sixteen fire stations? The county bought land last fall for a future station 17 in the Eagles Landing community. There are also plans for a station 18 in the Ola community. Finally, an upcoming EMS station will house an ambulance near Heritage Senior Center in McDonough.
