NVH Korea Wins Best in Atlanta

The Atlanta Business Chronicle presented their Best in Atlanta Real Estate awards on April 11. NVH Korea won the Best in Manufacturing award. The company announced in June 2023 their intent to lease space at Gardner Logistics Park. This is off Colvin Drive in Locust Grove.

NVH Korea represents a $72 million dollar investment. They will create 160+ jobs. The company manufacturers battery components for electric vehicles. They do not produce the battery cells, but rather components which allow each battery cell to communicate with one another. The components are then used by companies such as KIA and Hyundai Motor Group. Both have vehicle assembly plants in Georgia.

The company was the first electric vehicle manufacturer to locate within Henry County. Across the state, Georgia has attracted over $22 billion dollars in EV-related economic development since 2020.

Past Award Winners

NVH Korea is the third Best in Atlanta award winner from Henry County since 2021. Other recipients were Zinus USA in 2021 and Kuehne + Nagel in 2023. Zinus USA manufactures furniture on highway 42 in McDonough. Kuehne + Nagel leased 1 million square feet at Gardner Logistics Park. They began operations this spring.

Henry County Leads in Manufacturing

According to the US Census Bureau, Henry County was fourth for new manufacturing jobs among Georgia counties between 2018–2023. Henry County was fifth for all new jobs during this time.

On the horizon, Renewal by Andersen is building a new windows factory in Locust Grove. The facility is visible from I-75 south of Bethlehem Road. They plan to employ 900 individuals. Plant operations will begin in 2025.
