District 4 Special Election 2024

The district 4 special election was necessary after Commissioner Thomas resigned her seat to run for county chair. Commissioner Michael Price was appointed interim commissioner on March 28. Price will now serve as the district 4 commissioner until December 2026. District 4 will be back on the 2026 ballot for the regular four-year cycle. The district represents central Henry County. This includes portions of the Eagle’s Landing, McDonough, Stockbridge and Union Grove communities.
