The Stockbridge city council recently heard the latest revisions to the Bridges at Jodeco development. The Sterling Group plans to develop the Argento at Bridges apartments during the first phase of construction.
The 158-acre mixed use development is located at the southwest quadrant of I-75 and Jodeco Road. The plans have undergone several revisions since its 2016 annexation into Stockbridge city limits.
Argento at Bridges apartments
The Sterling Group will be constructing a 306-unit apartment complex. The apartments will feature enclosed stairway access, some interior garage units and boutique retail space. The retail space measures 6,200 square feet.
A breakdown of the units includes the following: 35% one bedroom, 55% two bedrooms and 10% three bedrooms. Estimated rents will range between the following:
- $1,300–$1,600 for one bedroom
- $1,650–$1,850 for two bedrooms
- $2,000+ for three bedrooms
Of the 306 units, sixty will have attached garages. There are also thirty-six detached garages. In addition, plans include twenty-three parallel parking spaces and 409 surface spaces.
The Sterling Group intends to close on the property purchase in early August. The company anticipates starting construction in either late 2021 or early 2022 depending on building permits.

Site Plan Revisions
The Sterling Group presented their concept to the Stockbridge council on July 27. The city council also saw an updated master site plan. Council members approved the site plan revisions during their meeting.
The apartments site consists of fourteen acres. The location is near the center of the property. To the west will be the future western parallel connector. The WPC is a new four-lane road between Hudson Bridge Road and Jonesboro Road. It bisects the Bridges at Jodeco development.
The site plan depicts future retail uses and more residential options. The retail space is generally alongside Jodeco Road. No specific retailers have been announced at this time.
