A joint meeting of the Henry County Board of Commissioners, Henry County Development Authority, and zoning advisory board has been called to discuss the comprehensive plan update. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 26, at 5:30 pm at the Henry County administration building, 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA.

The zoning advisory board recommended approval of the comprehensive plan at its most recent meeting earlier this month. The commissioners were not expected to formally review the plan until August.

The zoning advisory board is set to meet one hour later at 6:30 PM. On the agenda for the meeting is the proposed Lower Woolsey Henry 780 project, a rezoning request covering 683 acres for industrial development west of Hampton.
