The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board will meet twice during July 2018 to review applications for planning & zoning. For any changes to the future land use map or rezoning, the ZAB makes a recommendation to the board of commissioners, whereas variances or conditional use permits may be granted by the zoning board.

Zoning Advisory Board meetings occur on select Thursday’s during odd-numbered months starting at 6:30 pm at the Henry County administration building, located at 140 Henry Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253.

  • HENRY COUNTY/CITIES JOINT COMPREHENSIVE PLAN The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board will review the proposed Henry County/Cities Joint Comprehensive Plan 2040 update.
  • HAMPTON REVISED ZONING CODE The Henry County Zoning Advisory Board will review an amendment to the City of Hampton Code of Ordinances proposed to add a new Appendix A: Zoning, presented by TSW. A revised and updated zoning map will also be reviewed as proposed. Properties within the city limits may be assigned different zoning districts as well as be subject to new or reconfigured overlay districts as established by the proposed zoning code.
  • RZ 18-08 Mandalay Properties of Cumming, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to R-4 (Single-Family Residence) for property located at 100 Coulter Woods in Land Lots 100 & 101 of the 2nd District. The property consists of 1.0 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family subdivision. District 1
  • RZ-18-10 The Reservoir Group of Watkinsville, GA requests a rezoning from RA (Residential-Agricultural) to R-2 (Single-Family Residence) on sewer for property located on Crumbley Road in Land Lots 8 & 25 of the 11th District. The property consists of 87.6 +/- acres, and the request is for a single-family subdivision. District 4
