The McDonough boys basketball team has advanced to the final four in state playoffs 2025. They were one of four Henry County teams to compete in the Elite Eight.
McDonough Boys Final Four 2025
The McDonough boys team defeated Westminster, 65-56, on Wednesday afternoon, to reach the Final Four. They will next play North Oconee on Saturday, March 1, at 7 pm. The game will be at Fort Valley State University. McDonough competes in AAAA of Georgia High School sports. Let’s Go Warhawks!
Three other Henry County teams also competed in the Elite Eight. Their results were as follows:
- 5A Boys: Dutchtown 69 at Lee County 72.
- 4A Boys: Union Grove 46 at Pace Academy 94.
- 3A Girls: Luella 41 at Fayette County 54.
