Raising Cane’s in McDonough has set its opening date for March 2025. The new location is at Jonesboro Road and Mill Road, near I-75.

Raising Cane’s McDonough Opening Date

The Raising Cane’s in McDonough opening date is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, first reported by Tomorrow’s News Today Atlanta. The restaurant is at 1842 Jonesboro Road, McDonough. It replaced a former O’Charley’s restaurant. The Henry Reporter first shared news of the forthcoming restaurant in April 2024.

Raising Cane’s, founded in Louisiana in 1996, has a focus on fried chicken fingers. Their menu is simple, offering tender combos or a tender sandwich. Sides include fries, coleslaw and Texas toast. The company has been present in Athens, GA since 2006. Many Bulldog fans are familiar with the brand because of this location.

Despite the long-time presence close to UGA, the company only started opening locations in the Atlanta area in 2023. In November 2022, they announced plans to open ten company-owned locations. So far, there are three locations in Gwinnett County (a fourth opens in February) and one location in Woodstock. ToNeTo Atlanta reports others are coming soon in Kennesaw, Conyers, Cumming, Buckhead and West Midtown.
