Chick-fil-A in Locust Grove officially opened on Thursday, April 21. Stop by the new store for all of your favorites located at 1005 Bandy Parkway near I-75.

The store is located on the west side of I-75 off Bill Gardner Parkway. Store hours are 6 am to 10 pm Monday–Saturday; the dining room closes at 9 pm. And, of course, closed on Sundays.

Chick-fil-A Locust Grove

Moving Henry Forward first broke the news about the future store in October 2020. Y’all loved the news, with the article ranking third in our 2020 ranking of top ten posts. Only elections coverage surpassed it that year. The news in Locust Grove was quickly followed by the announcement Union Grove would also see a new location. The Union Grove location opened two months ago in February.

As part of the store’s opening, they donated free Chick-fil-A for a year to local first responders. This was in lieu of the traditional camp-out Chick-fil-A previously offered to open new stores before the pandemic.

Owner and operator of the new restaurant, Cameron Lovett, is a Henry County native. He most recently operated a Chick-fil-A location in Illinois, but first began working for the company at Truett’s Grill in McDonough.

Traffic Tips

When leaving the new store, motorists can either turn right for quick access to Bill Gardner Parkway and back towards I-75 OR motorists going towards highway 155 / Luella can turn left down Bandy Parkway. Motorists who do so can better turn left across Bill Gardner Parkway towards Luella by going out with the light at Strong Rock Parkway.
