In what looks to be one of the most heavily debated elections in Henry County in 2020, ten candidates have qualified in the race to succeed Keith McBrayer as Henry County Sheriff. McBrayer is retiring at the end of the year after three terms in office and over forty years of service to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
The primary for both democratic and republican candidates is on May 19. If no candidate receives a majority in either primary, the top two vote getters in that particular party will advance to a late summer runoff. The general election is in November.
Available information about each candidate has been included below. Links to candidates’ Facebook pages and / or websites have been provided where possible.
Candidates are grouped by party then listed in alphabetical order by last name.
