Requests to amend the city of Locust Grove future land use map and rezone property from RA (residential agricultural) to M-1 (light manufacturing) for 29 acres located on Jackson Street have been withdrawn by the applicant. The properties were planned to be developed into distribution facilities within the 75 South Logistics Center.

The city council was scheduled to vote on the request during its May 6 meeting after previously tabling the items in April to allow further review time by Georgia DOT and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. The public hearings for the request were held in March.
