Camp Horizon 2025

Our 2025 camp will be Saturday, June 28th at North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge. Camp Horizon is a full day of fun and educational activities that is aimed at helping children honor/remember a lost loved one, learn to recognize and manage emotions, teach coping skills, and build relationships with other children who have lost a loved one. All in a fun and safe environment led by counselors, social workers, and bereavement coordinators. We also host a caregiver’s session to help those taking care of the children in attendance walk with the child through grief (and find support themselves).

Camp Horizon always features small group activities, arts and crafts, games, music, a drum circle, entertainment and more! In addition to all the previously mentioned professionals on site, we also have two licensed children’s therapists, and plenty of nursing staff! All supplies, breakfast, and lunch are included for free! Camp Horizon is for any child ages 6-13 who has experienced the loss of a loved one (family member, friend, classmate, teammate, or community member).
