What is the Strategic Plan?
“The 2045 Strategic Plan will establish a unified, long-term vision and strategic objectives for Henry County that are reflective of the community,” according to the county website. The county has adopted a vision “to be the foundation for a vibrant, innovative, connected, and exceptional community.”
The plan has four main sections of work: community engagement, community education, drafting the strategic plan, and finalizing and adopting the plan. The consultant is estimating the draft plan will be ready in July. The final plan will be complete in September.
K.L Scott and Associates, LLC of Atlanta will complete the plan at a cost of $395,772. The county hired the company in January 2025.
