Dutch Bros Coffee is being considered for an open commercial property in Locust Grove. The company is presently building their first Georgia locations. The Locust Grove spot would be on Bill Gardner Parkway near I-75.

Dutch Bros Coffee in Locust Grove

Dutch Bros Coffee has a large presence in the western United States. The company founded in 1992 in Oregon. They have since expanded across the rest of the country. The company opened its 1,000th location in Orlando earlier this year.

Dutch Bros serves hot and iced coffees. They also offer teas, shakes and smoothies. The locations are drive-thru / walk-up only. The company does not yet have any locations open in Georgia. At least three Georgia locations are coming soon. Those are in Lawrenceville, Johns Creek and Warner Robins. That’s reported by What Now Atlanta.

Lang Commercial Real Estate is proposing a Dutch Bros Coffee at 4939 Bill Gardner Parkway. This is located between the medical office building and Murphy USA fueling station. Lang Commercial developed the Locust Grove Walmart and Marketplace Blvd. The property already has commercial zoning.

The developer has submitted building elevations for the city to review. The council will consider approving the renderings at their April 14 meeting.

The developer previously submitted plans for an Arby’s at the location. The city reviewed those plans in July 2023. At this time, it appears the Arby’s plan has been dropped.
