This week begins the month of March! Here is your look at meetings happening the week of March 3, 2025.

Astute observers will notice there’s less than usual this week. Several meetings have moved to next week.

Meetings the Week of March 3, 2025

Locust Grove Council

First up, the Locust Grove council is holding a three-day retreat, March 3-5. It is being held in Alpharetta. A retreat agenda is on the city website.

Stockbridge Council

Secondly, the Stockbridge council meets on Monday, March 3, at 6 pm. This is one week earlier than their usual time slot. The council meets at Stockbridge city hall.

Agenda items include an update to the city’s sanitation / trash collection contract. There are no planning & zoning items. View the Stockbridge agenda here.

McDonough Council

Lastly, the McDonough council will meet on Thursday, March 6, at 6 pm. They meet at McDonough city hall. At the time of publication, a meeting agenda is not yet available.

Meetings Next Week

The Locust Grove council and Henry County BOC have moved their regular meetings from this week to next week. In addition, Henry County District 5 Commissioner Kevin Lewis will host a town hall meeting. A quick glance at the calendar includes the following:

  • Henry County School Board monthly meeting – Monday, March 10, at 4 pm and 7 pm,
  • Locust Grove council regular meeting – Monday, March 10, at 6 pm,
  • Commissioner Lewis Town Hall meeting – Monday, March 10, at 6:30 pm,
  • Board of Commissioners regular meeting – Tuesday, March 11, at 9 am, and
  • Henry County Zoning Advisory Board monthly meeting – Thursday, March 13, at 6:30 pm.
