The McDonough 75 Logistics Center will be the next industrial building along highway 155. The 427,200 square foot building will be on property located near Prologis Park Road. It expects to open in early 2024.
Henry County approved a modification of a master plan last year for the property. The land previously had an industrial zoning dating back to 2000.
McDonough 75 Logistics Center
Alliance Industrial Company of Atlanta, GA is building the McDonough 75 Logistics Center. Their previous projects are concentrated in Texas. The new logistics center will be on 68 acres.
The 427,200 square foot building will orient north to south on the east side of highway 155. It measures 350’ wide by 1,200’ long. Employee parking will be visible as motorists drive down the roadway. All truck loading docks will be on the back side of the building — not visible from the state route. The building will have 70 loading docks and 159 trailer parking spaces. The trailer spaces are also on the rear side of the building.
Vehicle access will be via three driveways off highway 155. The most northern and southern driveways will support truck traffic. The center driveway will be to access the employee parking. In addition, the center driveway will align across from the Home Depot distribution center’s northern driveway. Turn lanes at each driveway will be part of the work.
