
Nearly 70,000 Henry Countians cast their ballots during early voting. For the remaining 116,000 voters, polls are open this Tuesday, November 8, from 7 am to 7 pm. On the ballot are statewide officers, members of the Georgia General Assembly, and three seats on the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
Voters can check their polling place or view a sample ballot on the state’s My Voter Page. As a reminder, all voters must go to their assigned polling place on Election Day.
Election Day 2022
Voters can cast their ballots on Election Day 2022 between 7 am and 7 pm this Tuesday. Anyone in line at 7 o’clock will be able to vote. Here is what’s on the ballot:
- US Senator from Georgia
- US House of Representatives
- Georgia Governor
- Lieutenant Governor
- Secretary of State
- Attorney General
- Agriculture Commissioner
- State School Superintendent
- Labor Commissioner
- Insurance Commissioner
- Georgia State Senate & State House

In addition, districts 3, 4 and 5 will elect a county commissioner. Candidates for each statewide office are available on the state’s My Voter Page. Candidates for county commissioner are as follows:
District 3 (shaded Yellow)
Distr. 4 (Green)
District 5 (Light Blue)

Finally, Henry County voters will elect members of the local soil & water conservation district. Four candidates are vying for three positions:
- Kyrishia Johnson
- Mark Larue
- George Patterson
- Wade Simpson
