WePartner, an Atlanta-based real estate firm, invites community members to a workshop discussion about Rose & Main, an upcoming development in the downtown Hampton area.

The community workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 17, between 4 and 8 pm. The event will be at the Hampton Depot located at 20 E Main Street S, Hampton, GA 30228.

Rose & Main is a 25 acre site located at the northeast corner of highway 20 and E Main Street. The site is bordered to the north by Rosenwald Drive and located a short distance from downtown Hampton.

Documents presented to the city council this week show plans for 175 residential units to include a mixture of single-family residential lots, townhomes, and upstairs apartments in shared buildings with commercial space. The site plan also includes 29,000 square feet of commercial space and 5.3 acres of park space / open space.

The property is zoned Downtown Mixed Use (DT-MU), a zoning district unique to the city of Hampton following its 2018 update of development codes. The applicant’s proposal closely resembles the city’s 2011 LCI study for the area.
