In the last few years, Henry County has seen the opening of several new Publix grocery stores. The number of Publix stores has nearly doubled from 5 to 8. A ninth is under construction in Locust Grove. But which is Henry County’s favorite? Let’s rank the Henry County Publix stores.
This ranking is based on a store’s Google Maps reviews. When stores have the same rating, the one with the most ratings is on top. This article was inspired by a similar rating by ESPN Southwest Florida for Sarasota, FL.

Final Thoughts
Honestly, it’s hard to go wrong with any Publix location. I think every store having at least 4.4 stars is a testament to that. Though newer stores like Ola and Kelleytown have a wider selection in some areas — Did you know there’s two types of pickles for your Publix subs? I always mix up which is my preference. — older faithfuls at Lake Dow and Luella also rank well.
Eagles Landing and Stockbridge both carry an impressive 2,000+ reviews. Westridge is just a few shy of that feat itself. Meanwhile, Henry County’s newest Publix store in Dutchtown has the fewest reviews. That’s understandable; they opened a little over one year ago. As for the aforementioned 9th store, it’s under construction in south Locust Grove. The Indian Creek store is expected to open around the end of 2025.
