Henry County Legislators to Host Town Halls on May 27 and 29

Members of the Henry County community can hear legislative updates firsthand from their state representatives at one of two upcoming town halls. The legislative updates town halls will be on May 27 and May 29.

The Georgia General Assembly held their annual session beginning in January and ending in early April. The governor’s deadline to sign or veto legislation was in mid-May.

Henry County Legislators Town Halls

Henry County is represented at the State Capitol by four state senators and six state representatives. Together, they form the Henry County legislative delegation. The Henry County legislators town halls are happening at the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, May 27, at 6 pm
    Shiloh Baptist Church Family Life Center, 262 Macon Street, McDonough
    Hosted by Reps Douglas, Flourney, Holly, and Santos, and Senator Davenport
  • Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 pm
    Henry County Parks & Recreation Office, Heritage Park, 97 Lake Dow Road, McDonough
    Hosted by Rep Kahaian

Rep Kahaian had an existing schedule obligation on Tuesday, May 27, resulting in the two different events.
