Stockbridge residents have a new option for their sweet tooth. Moore Sweets Bakery is now open on Hudson Bridge Road. The bakery opened its doors in October 2024. City officials joined them for a ribbon-cutting in January 2025.

Moore Sweets Bakery is located at 1534 Hudson Bridge Road, Stockbridge. This is in the shopping plaza with Children’s Healthcare beside Walmart.
Store hours include the following:
- Monday Closed
- Tuesday 1 pm-7 pm
- Wednesday 12 pm-7 pm
- Thursday 12 pm-7 pm
- Friday12 pm-7 pm
- Saturday 11 am-7 pm
- Sunday Closed
Owner Shay Head is a US Army veteran with a love for baking. Her website shares the following:
Shay was born in Detroit, Michigan, and later moved to the southside of Atlanta, blending her Midwestern and Southern roots to develop homemade recipes. Growing up, she fell in love with baking alongside her grandmother, who instilled in her a deep passion for creating delicious treats. Shay began her adulthood serving in the US Army, where she also became a wife. After retiring from the military and becoming a mom, she rekindled her old love for baking. Anticipating the arrival of her baby, she immersed herself in the world of custom cakes, falling in love with the art. This passion led to the creation of Moore Sweets.
