New retail space is finishing construction next to Moe’s on Marketplace Blvd in Locust Grove. Here’s an April 2023 retail update.
In addition, another future building is presently leasing. This building will be north of Express Oil Change.
Retail Updates April 2023
The newest building next to Moe’s Southwest Grill has space for three tenants. The anchor tenant, leasing 3,500 square feet, is Dent1st Dental Care. The other spaces are leased by Smoke World and Ultimate Nail Bar. The building measures 8,374 square feet.
Lang Commercial Real Estate of Rincon, GA developed the space. The property is presently for sale. Lang CRE has been the developer behind the Wal-Mart in Locust Grove and the surrounding retail space.
Their next retail building will be on the east side of Marketplace Blvd next to Express Oil Change. The 0.87 +/- acre lot can support a 5,000 square foot retail building with two tenants. The developer has not yet presented architectural renderings to the city of Locust Grove. When this occurs, construction will be on the horizon.
In other news, Gabino’s Mexican Grill will be moving into a new location. Their new spot is between QuikTrip and the car wash.
MHF News previously reported Home2 Suites by Hilton would be building a new location. They submitted architectural renderings last fall. There is no further update when work will begin. Their planned site is behind Fairfield Inn.
