Happy Friday! There are several community events happening this weekend. Hampton’s Yellow Pollen Street Festival and Locust Grove Day 2025 are both this Saturday, April 26. Tanger Outlets is also having a food truck festival all weekend: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I hope you will attend one or multiple of these events if you are looking for a weekend activity. Henry County has shared its third resurfacing bid of the spring and second in two weeks. This time, the bid covers roads in districts 2, 3 and 4. Last week’s bid was for districts 1 and 5. Altogether, the three contracts represent about 85 miles of county roads. The work will be paid for by SPLOST VI.
