Happy Wednesday! On Tuesday morning, Henry County Schools held the ground breaking for the STEM High School. The new school located in Stockbridge is the first theme focus high school in the county. The high school will open in August 2027.
In other district news, nine Henry County high schools were recognized as 2025 AP Honor Schools. The district had high schools place in 7 out of 8 categories. For anyone who may be wondering like I did about the 8th category, it is for small and medium-sized high schools. Henry County high schools would not be eligible for it.
